I wrote a few months ago around learning to use my camera properly. That still hasn't happened (yet) however last night Jono showed me what my camera can achieve, and I am inspired.

Today's unnecessary purchase

Was in the chandlery at lunch time, picking up a few useful electrical bits to finish the boat off, and I spotted this. It made me smile, so I bought it.

Fluffy pink clouds

I took this picture as the sun was setting over the canal in Hillmorton last night, and I think it pretty much sums up my life at the moment - fluffy, pink and happy!

All's good in my world right now - I've met a lovely man, got my boat back and the sun keeps shining. Summer's here and the festival season is upon us, life is pretty sweet.

Complete at last

There are a couple of finishing touches still to be added, and a little DIY to be done, but Muddy Waters is now basically complete. She's back on the water, and just about fit to take out cruising this weekend - yay!

So close....yet so far

Question is....will she be back on the water tomorrow? Boat yard guys still say "yes", but there's a lot of work still to be done. Time shall tell!

Oh yes, and I don't know quite what posessed them to paint the cleat on the front in spectacular postbox red, but it isn't staying that colour. It will soon be in keeping with the rest of the colour scheme ;)
